Our association with Stellar* started in the late-90’s. Having designed the original 1999 Mix album (featuring an alternate cover), we later designed the more well-known cover seen below as part of a multimedia repackage in 2000 which helped the album to 5x Platinum sales.

Having never been released on vinyl, the 20th anniversary was an opportune time to do so, featuring new liner notes which we also wrote (abridged from a longer AudioCulture article). Lead singer Boh Runga was known for her bright red hair in the band’s early days, so “Runga Red” was the obvious choice of vinyl colour.
